It was a pleasure to shoot Frank Galati during the last rehearsal of his new play, "1776" at the Asolo Theater in Sarasota, FL.

Mr. Galati is an American director, writer, and actor. He was awarded the Tony Award for Best Play for his adaptation of The Grapes of Wrath in 1990, nominated for an Academy Award for Best Writing, received the BAFTA Award for Best Adapted Screenplay as well as a Writers Guild of America Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.

The crew of The Salvatore were very kind and put on a real show for me, making the tugboat spin wildly and spray water as a form of salute. It was a great way to end a long hard day of work that included some great fresh fish with coconut rice for lunch with the whole crew. The shot was taken out at sea from the tugboat's twin brother, The Pino.
